Swimming in the pool is entirely at your own risk and is reserved for the benefit of resident guests only.

Undercover parking is provided. Cars are parked at owner’s risk in the carports.

Booking And Cancellation Policies

50% Deposit to secure a booking (if a short stay of one or two nights, payment in full to secure your booking)

In the event of premature departure, we charge for the full original booking.
CANCELLATION 0 - 7 DAYS before date of arrival, or no-show: visitor forfeits 100% of deposit paid
CANCELLATION 7 -14 DAYS before date of arrival: visitor forfeits 75% of deposit paid
CANCELLATION 14 + DAYS before date of arrival: visitor forfeits 50% of deposit paid

 
Security
There is a safe in most rooms. We do not accept responsibility whatsoever for any lost, damaged or missing articles.
Access gates/doors
For your added safety and protection, the residential complex is fully electrically fenced, activated in the evenings and monitored by security armed response.
Telephone
Cell phone reception is available on the property, so suites are not equipped with landlines. You are welcome to use our telephone – please contact reception.
Television
Mnet, Movies 1 and 2, SABC 1,2,3, ETV, Sports Channels, Universal Channel, M-Net Series and BBC Lifestyle
Arrival/departure
Check-in is 14h00 on the day of arrival.
Check-out is 10h00 on the day of departure.

Climate
Brookfield Farmhouse is located 1200m above sea level and enjoys a reliable annual rainfall in excess of 1000mm. No small wonder the Midlands always appear lush green year round. At this elevation near the Drakensberg watershed, summer temperatures may range from 20°C to 30°C during the day, often with dramatic afternoon thunderstorms. Evenings are cool with occasional thick mist, so caution should be exercised if you are driving.

Winters are crisp to freezing cold with light frosts and clear sunny days. Daytime temperatures range from 10°C to 25°C, while night temperatures frequently drop to around 2°C. So you are advised to bring a set of warm clothing.
